Hello,

Things have been getting REALLY busy here at Whizzpop mansions recently. I have been working on plenty of new material, performing lots of shows and taking plenty of bookings! I had agreat time opening the show for my friend Secret Agent 23 Skidoo ( www.secretagent23skidoo.com) at Asheville’s Grey Eagle on the 20th of February and helped my friend John open his fantastic new coffee shop in downtown Sylva on the 26th February, if you find yourself needing a coffee or tea in downtown Sylva you can do no better than visit Signature Brew! Birthday party bookings and private events are coming in thick and fast… I am really looking forward to Luca’s Party this coming Saturday and Lily’s 5th Birthday Party later this month!

Wednesday 17th March… come and see Tom Fool at the Grey Eagle in Asheville supporting Hellblinki ( www.hellblinki.com). Celebrate Saint Paddy’s Day… with a Welshman!

Saturday 20th March 2010… the world famous Jack the Dipper Ice Cream Shop in Sylva will be re-opening! Professor Whizzpop will be there merforming a magic show at 2p.m. and twisting balloons… everyone who comes gets a goodie bag full of stuff including the activity filled Professor Whizzpop Book of Showing Off!

Saturday 27th March… Once again Professor Whizzpop will be opening for Hip Hop Maestro Secret Agent 23 Skidoo ( www.secretagent23skidoo.com) at his show in Black Mountain North Carolina.

Saturday 3rd April 2010… Professor Whizzpop will appear at 2p.m. at the annual Dillsboro Easter Hat Parage. I’ll be making balloons for all those that want one and performing stroll around magic for the crowds!

Saturday 24th April 2010… Once again Professor Whizzpop will be attending the fabulous Spring Daze Festival in Cary North Carolina. I’ll be twisting balloons all day… and well into the evening!

Saturday 15th May 2010… Come and see BOTH the Professor Whizzpop show and the all new Tom Fool show at the Dale Earnhart Chevrolet Newton Mayfest. In between shows I’ll be twisting those balloons again!

Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th June 2010… Professor Whizzpop will be a part of the Balloon Brigade in Johnson City TN as part of their Blue Plum Festival ( www.blueplum.org)… there will be 80 000 or so people there so if they al want balloons I’ll be VERY busy!

Don’t foget you can catch Tom Fool on the first Thursday every month with my good friends Asheville Vaudeville ( www.ashevillevaudeville.com) at the Bebe Theater in Asheville. We’ve just gone to two shows an evening… double the fun!

Bookings for parties and events keep coming in. Here is the latest list of public appearances where you can catch the Professor Whizzpop or Tom Fool Show as of the 8th of February. Asheville Vaudeville ( www.ashevillevaudeville.com) Takes place on the first Thursday of each month at the Bebe Theater in Asheville. It’s a series of shows benefitting manna food bank and has an incredible group of people working for them… jugglers, accordion players, puppetteers and myself performing as Tom the Magician. Come pay us a visit!

20th February. Professor Whizzpop will be supporting hip hop maestro Secret Agent 23 Skidoo ( www.secretagent23skidoo.com) at The Grey Eagle. Showime is at 1p.m.

20th February. Professor Whizzpop will also appear at the Western North Carolina Magic Club Vaudeville Magic fundraiser for Swannanoa Montessori School at the Carver Community Center in Swannanoa. Showtime begins at 4p.m. You may find details at www.swanmont.org

26th February. Shot in the Dark Coffee shop in Downtown Sylva will be having it’s Grand Opening. Professor Whizzpop will be performing half an hour of family magic beginning at 5p.m. Come and enjoy the magical mayhem!

April 3rd. 2p.m. till 4p.m. Join professor Whizzpop at the Dillsboro Easter Hat Parade in Dillsboro North Carolina. As well as performing magic for adults and children I’ll be twisting balloon hats for all those who forgot one!

Yesterday I was approached by the good people at Asheville Catholic School and asked to donate towards their spring fundraiser, a silent auction. Of course says I and promptly send them a voucher for 50% off a Professor Whizzpop Birthday Party package. The auction takes place on Monday April 26th and they will soon have a website up with details. In the meantime here is what you get;

Hurrag and huzzah! At last my ashevillemagic.com website is complete, or nearly… just a few minor touches to put in. 2010 has started with a bang with great magic shows in the Asheville and Western North Carolina area! The Professor Whizzpop Magic Show has been working at numerous birthday parties and I am REALLY pleased with how the show is being recieved. I have also been working on a new adult and street show for festivals and events in the Spring/ Summer as well as developing more circus skills ( I can now juggle burning torches whilst standing on a slackline!). I am going to call the new show the “Tom Fool” show and have registered a domain for it… www.tomfooled.us. All I need to do now is get Bill…my brilliant web person to build another site!

As well as having Professor Whizzpop do his magic show at your birthday party you can catch him or Tom Fool at many public events this winter.
